HPNA members participated in an Opioid Availablity Survey in November, 2009. We are excited to share these results and want you to know that they have been discussed with the Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition which includes American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicint (AAHPM), Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), and the National Palliative Care Research Center (NPCRC). We are also sharing these comments with the FDA and already have seen results from the feedback shared with the FDA through the approval of concentrated morphine solutions.
