The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) is the national, professional nursing organization, which represents the specialty of Palliative Nursing. HPNA’s membership includes over 11,000 hospice and palliative nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team. HPNA has approximately 50 chapters nationwide.

       To advance expert care in serious illness.

 

THROUGH A FOCUS ON

       Advancing expert pain and symptom management.

       Advancing expert coordination and transitions of care.

 

BY ENGAGING MEMBERS THROUGH

       Education, with the goal of being the primary resource for cutting-edge knowledge pertaining to the care and culture of serious illness.

       Advocacy, with the goal of being the leading voice for the transformation of the care and culture of serious illness.

       Leadership, with the goal of being empowering members to transform the care and culture of serious illness.
